Elite Team Signup

Thanks for your interest in joining the SelecTri Elite Team for 2021.

Total registration fees for the team are $500. These fees cover:

• Elite team tri-kit, run shirt and polo

• Athlete Training Peaks account including uncoached lessons

• In-person coach support at 2 draft legal races plus Nationals

• This fee may be spread into 3 payments however you are committing to all three payments - ie can not quit team after 1 payment as most of the cost is to 3rd parties

  • Payments will occur at time of signup, January 15, March 15

The expectations associated with joining this team include:

• Prioritized commitment to triathlon in May-August season

• Use of Training Peaks account to log workouts, provide feedback

• Level of professionalism & commitment to triathlon

• Support of sport of triathlon at selected volunteer opportunities - e.g. Ironman Texas

Two levels of of the Elite team are:

• High Performance - planning on racing draft legal this year or planning on racing non-draft Nationals at a high level (13+)

• Emerging Elite - working towards advancing drafting skills in the hopes of racing draft legal in future years or looking to excel at national and local non-draft races (12+)

Small Print:

• This cost does not include ongoing monthly training costs through SelecTri. While we do not require you to train with SelecTri, we’d love for you to especially from May onwards!

• Coach communication on workouts will be done through training peaks with the expectation that parents have access to these accounts. Parents will not be copied on workout comments.
